Application Range of Chain Weights
The international general standard chain weight series for electronic belt scales complies with the requirements of the metrological verification specification JJG195 - 2002. It is a simulated load standard and can be used as a calibrator for electronic belt scales and weighing feeders. If an automatic winding and lifting device is selected, it will be more convenient to calibrate and correct the measurement accuracy of electronic belt scales. It is widely used in occasions where electronic belt scales are used to measure bulk materials in industries such as electric power, metallurgy, chemical engineering, docks, building materials, and coal mines. It can achieve static automatic calibration of the accuracy of electronic belt scales. It is usually used to calibrate various electronic belt scales with an accuracy ranging from 0.5 to 2.0.

Main Features of the 304 Stainless Steel Chain Weight with Weighing System
The chain weight is installed at the belt position. The verification process is simple, fast, highly automated, time-saving, labor-saving, accurate and reliable. The collection and placement of the chain weight are automatically operated by the electronic control system, and it has remote output contacts for remote control in the program control room. When there is a large space above the conveyor, a winding type collection can be used. When the space is narrow, a box-type retractor can be selected. When a lifting retractor is selected, there are two options for users to refer to. One is to fix the lifting tractor on the conveyor frame, which requires a conveyor with a set of retractors. The other is to fix the tractor on the top of the belt passage above the conveyor, which can be manually operated. It can move horizontally in an electrical or electronic control state to achieve the purpose of calibrating the belt scales on two conveyors with one set of receiving and placing devices, thus saving costs.

The chain weight calibration device consists of balls, chains, inner and outer connecting plates and lifting rings. According to the design type, it can be divided into Type A and Type B (according to the pitch difference).

Operating Principle
After the electronic belt scale is zeroed, the weight of the standard weight can dynamically simulate the state of materials when the belt is running. The weight is transmitted to the weighing sensor through the weighing body. Meanwhile, the system sets the running speed of the belt at this time to be constant. The weighing display operates and shows the instantaneous and cumulative measured values. When the system selects an automatic chain feeding device, the whole process of lowering and winding of the chain weight is completed by the electric winder, which is more convenient, simple and labor-saving.
Calibration Method of Chain Weights
The inspection chain weight consists of a series of equally weighted rollers and their connecting devices. When the belt is running, the rollers will rotate in place. The weight of the chain weight can simulate the force of materials on the weighing system. By calculating the corresponding theoretical weight and comparing it with the indicated value of the belt scale, the belt scale can be calibrated. This calibration method is closer to the physical operation state. Combined with the basic measurement and control of the material coefficient of the belt scale, it can replace physical calibration.
